Workshop for bloggers, 30 May: You’ve got the power, now learn the craft

May 11th, 2009

A workshop on blogging will be held on Saturday 30 May. It’s for individuals who are already active only, but want to know how to take their blogging to the next level. Titled “Blogging: You’ve Got the Power (Now Learn the Craft)”, the full-day seminar will feature accomplished bloggers and expert trainers who will explain the writing and reporting skills, ethical issues, legal minefields and technological solutions for impactful and responsible blogging.

Highlights include the founders of Yawning Bread and The Online Citizen sharing what they’ve learnt in their years of independent blogging, and legal scholar Professor Kevin Tan on how to avoid defamation, sedition and other rude shocks.

The workshop is organised by AMIC, IPS and The Online Citizen. For more information and to register, please visit http://bloggingseminar.wordpress.com.
